The portal is built on a news engine that gets the latest news from major Indian as well as global news portals. This saves the time of individually going to the different news sites. The news headlines are displayed as links along with a tool tip that provides a short description about the news item. When the user clicks on a news link, he is then directed to the original source of the news item.

The portal aims to provide a news dashboard to its users. In this way, the users will have a 360 degree view of the events and happenings in India and around the world.
